Jujitsu school

I was nervous and hesitant to join a martial art, but it was a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructors were amazing, super kind, and patient. Would definitely recommend!

I am not one to write reviews but I can't say enough about Fusion MMA. The structure of the Jiu Jitsu program is top notch. Instead of randomly working on skills they designed the program to make sure each student understands the basics of the Martial Art before moving on. They also have done this with me for the past year in a safe and positive environment. Jeff, Ian, Kyle, and all of the instructors are great teachers and super knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough. Time to join.

Wow Best gym i have ever seen . With best coaches. And they always work hard

I wanted to learn self-defence over the summer and decided to take up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing. After visiting and trying out several martial arts dojo in Toronto, I chose InnerCity MMA because of the positive atmosphere, the downtown location, and the bargain price. InnerCity MMA provides a warm, nurturing, ego-free, fun, and friendly training environment. Professor Franco is an extremely experienced and tremendously knowledgeable martial arts practitioner. His style of teaching is conducive to both beginner and experienced martial artists.If you’re looking to get into shape, learn self-defence, pick up a new hobby, or simply just a martial arts enthusiast, I recommend that you check out InnerCity MMA!

Top gym, top instructors, and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere!

I was on this gym with my son for sometime, he was doing jujitsu, at the beginning it was good not many children’s the coach were paying attention and teaching, right now the gym is full of children’s no attention what so ever, the coach take month to promote a child, the promotions are not being done properly and children’s are being asked to do submission unattended. It’s a lot of favouritism from the coaches toward certain children’s. Right now this gym is only worry about how much money they can take from the parents, they don’t care about teaching at all. I’m being generous giving 1 star.

Training here changed my life, went from a negative to a positive Coach Brian, Sheila and Chad are top notch. Coach Nick is ok too.

I highly recommend Authentic Jiu Jitsu to anyone contemplating learning Jiu Jitsu. Professor Ben demonstrates a high degree of care for all of his students, the quality of the instruction and the cleanliness of the academy. I am especially impressed with the attention to safety while still promoting a challenging and competitive training environment. If you are looking for a great place to train and make friends this is the place to go.As a white belt just starting out I had some significant issues spazzing" when rolling (hopefully done with that now :) ) . Professor Ben was incredibly patient and took the time to work with me to calm me down. Once that happened rolling was a lot more fun and I was a lot more relaxed when rolling my training partners."

I recently signed up at this gym and everyone their members and coaches alike have been extremely welcoming! That staff all seem experienced and professional and enjoy what they’re doing . I would highly recommend checking out a class I think anyone from a beginner to somebody with more experience training would have a great time at this facility !

I had my first bjj class 5 years ago at PTT Vernon and never looked back. Dave Rothwell is a world class competitor and an even better teacher. I am very lucky to have him as my instructor and to be surrounded by a very supportive and very talented group of people!
